University of California Berkeley (UCB)
For almost 100 years, UCLA has been an innovator, enduring unlikelihood, turning futile into the attainable. Varied, progressive, and centered in one of the most prominent cities in the world, UCLA is a truly global university that presents a world of opportunity. Continually ranked among the world’s top-tier universities and powered by comprehensive resources, a renowned status, and most importantly, the will to make a real change in the world, the outcome is clearly in the numbers. With more than 3,800 programs in 109 academic departments, UCLA presents 125 plus majors to help students state their educational path, and 70 percent of the university’s undergraduate classes have 30 or fewer students, boosting student’s personal commitment with its internationally recognized faculty.… The faculty includes Nobel Prize winners, Fulbright Scholars, and a Fields Medal receiver. Classes are encouraging. Coursework is tricky. UCLA’s graduate programs have a status for producing professionals, researchers, and leaders who have a crucial effect on the world. With 40 programs ranked among the top in the country, UCLA gives today’s graduate students the funds and cutting-edge training they need to go out and leave their permanent mark.
At UCLA, imagination thrives at three of the most admired and acclaimed professional schools in the country: The School of the Arts and Architecture, The Herb Alpert School of Music, and The School of Theater, Film, and Television. Here, scholars learn from masters in their arenas, network with a host of famous alumni, build associations with working specialists, and benefit from the breadth and depth of possessions and practices that only a world-class university in the arts and entertainment capital of the world can offer. The campus is continuously in motion. Students start and join 1000 plus clubs, kick-start businesses, run associations, and are deeply engaged with the community. The fans fill the stand for some of the most storied teams in NCAA history. And the whole undergraduate body joins events like Bruin Bash, the annual festival to kick off the new school year, which has featured top performers like Jay-Z, T.I., and LMFAO. It’s just the beginning act of a memorable UCLA experience’s Angeles, an international city where culture, business, and industry blend into the prospect. This is where 4 million people power the world’s 15th largest economy.
UCLA does not grant scholarships or financial support to undergraduate students who are not citizens or permanent residents of the United States. International students must show that they have ample funds at their disposal to pay for their tuition and living expenses. For example, students admitted to the Fall Quarter 2021 will need a minimum of $67,701 (with an additional $5,000 suggested for additional personal expenses, contingencies and summer expenses). This minimum amount generally increases every year.UCLA also requires all foreign non-immigrant visa students to have sufficient medical benefits for all times of enrolment. More details on these requirements will be sent to the students when they are accepted.
