Tuition Fees

The tuition fee or cost of an MBA in Canada varies depending on the type of college, course, study duration, and college location. On an average fee range for an MBA course is $ 30000-40000 per year

Scholarships for MBA in Canada are few. The ones available are highly competitive and based on merit. Some known ones are Ontario Graduate Scholarships (OGS) and the Go Clean Scholarship.

Type of MBA Programs and Course Duration in Canada 

A traditional full-time MBA program will typically last two years (24 months). This is the most sought-after program as it offers immersive tracks to study and focuses heavily on giving students maximum real-world experience.

There are institutions to study in Canada offering accelerated MBA programs, that last one year (12 months) or a year and a half (18 months).

Apart from these, there are part-time and Executive MBA (EMBA) programs available for students to enrol in. Both these programs are generally taken by working professionals, who attend the program while maintaining a full-time job.

Student Visa Terms and Provisions

A Canadian student visa is referred to as a ‘Study Permit’. The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) website has updated information on the latest visa and immigration requirements. Students are advised to study the application requirements thoroughly before applying for a visa.

• To apply for a Study Permit, a student should have received admission from a university that is listed under the Designated Learning Institutions (DLI) list authorized by IRCC.
• Once a student has received admission, they can submit their visa applications at any VFS centers or file their application online via the IRCC website.
• The visa application also requires the submission of visa documents such as passport­ sized photos, a valid passport, an admission letter from the university, financial and academic documents, test scores, fee receipt (mandatory), scholarship and work experience documents (if applicable) and a medical report.

Post Study Stay Back Options

A post-graduation work permit (PGWP) grants permission to international students to remain in Canada and work full time for up to three years after graduating from a Canadian post-secondary institution. The length of the work permit depends on the length of the program.
